Introduction of Business Management

Today’s dynamic business world presents managers with an array of complex and exciting challenges, such as globalization, workforce diversity and scarce resources. Business education prepares students to meet these challenges in the local as well as national context. This department is one of the pioneering department of the KIU Ghizer campus established in 2018.

The department offers only undergraduate program for the students who seek to develop their career in business education and research. Our qualified and experienced faculty members have put a transparent and integrated system in position to inculcate the real localized market knowledge in amalgamation of the best practices from around the world in teaching and research. We want to be the most important business school in terms of management thinking, theory, practice and useable research. Every student in our BBA program has a choice to choose one area of interest from various specializations (i.e. Finance, Human Resource Management and Marketing).

The Undergraduate program with different specializations are developed with an objective to produce skilled professionals, with having strong theoretical knowledge and advanced managerial skills with the competence to deal with the real market challenges. The key factors attracting students to the Department of Business Management (DBM) are the modern teaching methodologies (such as case studies, research & development, PowerPoint presentations, students’ involvement etc.), faculty exposure, relevance and innovation in curriculum, instructional methods, research and community engagement. We follow the guidelines of HEC in our teaching and research. DBM always provides and maintains quality education by using different innovative tools of teaching. Because of the geographical challenges of the area, we believe in assisting the marginalized people of the region.
