A grand Seerat Conference was organized at Karakoram International University (KIU) Ghizer Campus on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in collaboration with the District Administration Ghizer, as part of the Ashrah Rehmat-ul-Lil-Alameen celebrations. The conference was attended by religious scholars, community notables, faculty members, students, and the head of District Administration Ghizer.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat-e-Rasool (S.A.W.). Principal Degree College, Sher Nadir, formally welcomed all guests and participants.
Distinguished scholars, including Molana Shah Abdullah, Molana Saifullah, Alwa’az Karim Khan, and Sheikh Yawar Abbas, delivered insightful speeches. They stressed that the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) provides a complete code of conduct, guiding Muslims in all aspects of life. The scholars urged the youth to embody the Prophet’s teachings, particularly in the digital era where challenges posed by modern technology and social media require stronger faith, positive character, and the promotion of Islamic values.
Speakers also highlighted the importance of peace, tolerance, social justice, and unity in society, encouraging students and young professionals to serve as ambassadors of these values in their personal and professional lives.
The Deputy Commissioner Ghizer, who graced the event as chief guest, delivered concluding remarks. He reaffirmed the Prophet’s (S.A.W.) role as a universal role model and called upon the youth to adopt his principles of compassion, honesty, and service to humanity.
The conference also featured soulful Naats by students, followed by a prize and certificate distribution ceremony recognizing winners of various competitions held across District Ghizer during Ashrah Rehmat-ul-Lil-Alameen. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Director KIU Ghizer Campus, after which refreshments were served to the guests.
