Biological Sciences Department KIU Ghizer campus established in July 2018 aimed to provide basics and fundamentals on the diverse areas of both Plant sciences & Animal sciences, and Initiated its aim with BS program of Zoology. The major emphasis of this program is the areas of Fisheries, Entomology, Biodiversity Conservation, Fresh water Biology and Economic Zoology which are in contents of local needs of Ghizer district.

Mission
The primary objective of the Biological science KIU Ghizer Campus is to divulge quality education in the subject of Zoology as a basic science and promote research works to the students from the Ghizer district specially from the rural & backward areas with very minimum resources.
