The KIU Ghizer Campus stands as a beacon of educational opportunity amidst the breathtaking landscapes of District Ghizer, Pakistan. Established under the visionary framework of the Government of Pakistan’s Vision 2025, the campus embarked on it’s educational journey in July 2018, with a steadfast focus on providing accessible and high-quality higher education to the local populace. The faculty and management staff are deeply committed to Social Development and the Cultivation of Peaceful and Pluralistic Societies, guided by the golden words of worthy VC KIU: Merit, Teamwork, Individual commitment, and Mutual respect. As director of campus, it is my solemn commitment to ensuring its sustainability and significant contribution to the socio-economic fabric of the region.

The core objectives of the campus aligns seamlessly with the guidelines stipulated by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), aiming to foster an environment conductive to exemplary education through the recruitment of top-tier faculty, infrastructural development, and an unwavering dedication to transparency and efficiency. Strategically nestled in the heart of District Ghizer, the campus serve as a gateway to higher education for the local community. District Ghizer boasts an impressive literacy rate, and the campus capitalizes on this by offering undergraduate programs in Business Administration, Education, and Biological Sciences. Presently, an enrollment of 330 students underscore the community’s eagerness to access higher education within they reach. The faculty, esteemed pillars of the institution, consists of highly educated and motivated individuals who are wholeheartedly dedicated to realizing the vision, mission, and objectives of KIU.

Since its inception in 2018, the KIU Ghizer Campus has been steadfast in delivering quality education in one of the most remote regions of the country. In this regard, the close rapport between faculty members and students ensures meticulous attention to each student’s academic journey, a hallmark of our educational philosophy. Our management staff and faculty advocate for a holistic approach to academic guidance, characterized by active student engagement and deliberate decision-making regarding their future endeavors.

The KIU Ghizer campus is deeply committed to upholding cultural, social values, norms, and religious beliefs by organizing lectures on Islamic thoughts, as well as social and cultural topics. We engage stakeholders, NGOs, government organizations, and religious scholars to keep our students abreast of contemporary social issues.

As the campus director, I assure you that we are leaving no stone unturned in our endeavor to impart and ensure the finest higher education environment at KIU Ghizer Campus.
