Achieving eminence, a student from KIU Ghizer Campus has garnered acclaim.

As per the Public Relations Department of KIU, Ghizer Campus, Usman Ali, a Business Administration student, clinched the second position in the 25th batch of the Allied Bank Limited, Management Trainee Officers Program. Additionally, he secured the top position in the Islamabad North Region.

Director Ghizer campus Dr. Shahab underscored the magnitude of this distinction for KIU, particularly the Ghizer Campus. Extending congratulations to Usman Ali, he hailed him as an exemplary figure for fellow students. It is noteworthy that since the inception of Ghizer Campus, its students have consistently demonstrated commendable performance in diverse research projects and training initiatives, thereby fostering a competitive academic milieu on the campus

let’s celebrate Diversity

The department of Business Management organized an event with the name of “let’s celebrate Diversity” to highlight the importance of accepting people of different backgrounds, beliefs and culture. Today in academic institutes and other organizations there are people of diverse backgrounds and for smooth working and success people need to make it a step towards success rather than mishandling this unique characteristic of today’s organizations.

Inter Departmental Volleyball competition

“Inter Departmental Volleyball competition was held at KIU Ghizer Campus during 26-29 May 2021. All three departments participated in the competition and the final match was played between the Department of Management Sciences and Department of Educational Development. Engr. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah, VC KIU graced the occasion as Chief Guest. After a very sensational and exciting competition, the Department of Business Management team won the Volleyball competition and the Department of Educational Development team stood as a runner up.  

The Chief Guest, worthy VC KIU Engr. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah gave away the cups and cash prizes to the winner/ runner up of competition and congratulated the winning team on success. While addressing the occasion, the Chief Guest said that arranging such kind activities for students will obviously help students to showcase their talent and efforts. He further elaborated that through such Sports competitions, students will learn the basics of sports, be physically active, and also help students to build self-esteem, confidence and excel academically.”

QEC Team Visited KIU Ghizer Campus

Self Assessments Reviews (SAR’s) of all three running Degree programs have successfully concluded through External and internal peer evaluators at KIU Ghizer Campus on 18 June 2021. Dr. Abdul Razzaq, Director QEC/Chief Coordinator KIU Sub Campuses, Dr. Moazzam Nizami, Director QEC Hazara University, Dr. Imranullah Marwat, Director QA, HED, KPK, Dr. Sajjad, HoD Chemistry KIU alongwith KIU QEC team visited KIU Ghizer Campus for the review.Dr. Memoona Nilofar, Focal Person/A. Director Campus formally welcomed all the guests and also gave a brief presentation to the evaluators regarding academic activities, campus progress, developments and future plans. Afterwards the evaluators checked/reviewed all SAR’s one by one, visited class rooms, labs, library and also met with faculty and students.The QEC peer review team shows their satisfaction on SAR’s of Degree programs running at KIU Ghizer Campus and also appreciated Campus management for provision of Quality education within limited available resources to the students in this far-flung area of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Welcome Party For BBA 1st Semester

A welcome party was arranged by BBA 6 Semester, students of Business Administration, for the new batch of BBA 1st semester 2020-2024 on 26th Nov. 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Shahabuddin, Head of Department Business Administration. In this event all Faculty, Staff, Heads, Directors, Students of Business administration and Cr’s of other departments were invited. Students displayed their cultural dance and juniors shared their expectations and experience. Furthermore Honorable Director beautifully delivered the goals and objectives of KIU Ghizer campus and her expectations from the students and whole KIU Team. This new batch is lucky enough that they got a welcome party from their generous seniors because such an event happened for the first time ever in KIU Ghizer campus history…. We expect that our seniors will surely have a lovely and memorable farewell… when they will graduate

KIU Family visited different areas of District Ghizer

As per directives of the worthy Vice Chancellor KIU, Dr. Memona Nilofar, Campus Director KIU Ghizer Campus alongwith Faculty and Management visited different areas of District Ghizer to deliver study materials to the students of KIU Main Campus and listen issues which faced by the students while pursuing their studies through blended learning system of KIU during this COVID-19 pandemic situation.  


The notables, students and their parents warmly welcomed to KIU teams and appreciated the efforts which made by VC KIU and management to cater the issues faced by the students. The Campus Director distributed flash drives containing soft learning/study materials to the students and while addressing with the students and their parents she assured that KIU will take all possible steps to make higher education accessible to the students at their doorstep through LMS, online/Blended education and facilitation centers in spite of the difficult circumstances of COVID-19.
