Distributed cheques of Ehsaas Scholarship Programme

The worthy VC KIU Engr. Prof Dr. Attaullah Shah distributed cheques of Ehsaas Scholarship Programme among undergraduate students of three departments at KIU Ghizer Campus. Chief Coordinator KIU Sub-Campuses, Director Works KIU, Campus Director KIU Ghizer Campus, Faculty, Management and students were present on the occasion.
While speaking in the ceremony, the worthy VC KIU highlighted that the basic aim of this program is to support and encourage underprivileged students who are studying in various programmes and unable to pay their fees. He further added that the Ehsaas Scholarship Programme not only help the poor and needy students to complete their education but would also help to eradicate poverty. He asked the beneficiary students to focus on their education and extracurricular activities to achieved their targets.

Chinese Language Classes started at KIU Ghizer Campus. Vice Chancer KIU Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah along with Dean SS&H Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ramzan and Director IPD Mr. Muhammad Ilyas participated besides staff and Director Campus Dr.Sabit Rahim. More than 50 students have been registered in one month intensive Chinese Language course HSK1. In the opening ceremony, Dr Sabit Rahim welcome vice chancellor and others at the campus and shared with them various initiatives undertaken by the campus. Dr. Ramzan appreciated the focused approach of vice chancellor on the targets and his vision which could lead to visible improvement in the KIU main campus and sub campuses. He shared with the audience that VC after assuming his office focused on initiating classes in Diamer and Chilas Campuses. The foundation ceremony of Engineering Faculty last day by CM GB is a hallmark achievement for KIU as it will pave way for high quality Engineering and technology Education in the region.
